We Are Ukrianians

Today feels like same song, third verse. We are on the buses again. Up untill today the roads while not what we are used to in the states have not been that bad. Today that all changed.

Tonight Micheal said to the crowd that we had a good Ukrainian lunch at the hotel and that we expreciened a true Ukrainian road on the way to Ivano Frankivsk and now we are true Ukrainians.

To say that today’s road is bumpy would be an understatement. One of our buses had some type of incident on the way to the concert site. We hear it was a flat tire. The Singing Men members were put on other buses and some wives and mission partners were taken off and put on Bus D that was disabled.

At this point I don’t know exactly the status of that part of the group, but we think they were able to limp back to L’viv and wait for another bus to come to replace it.  It has been a long and bumpy day for everyone.

Michael’s devotional this morning was inspritational as usual. Once we get back to the hotel I hope to get it uploaded and posted here in a few hours.

Tonight’s concerts were once again well attended. With this travel schedule we were running late again and people were lined up waiting to get in. The room filled twice with a very lively and excited crowd. There were several rounds of the European style of unison clapping.

Several guys backstage had bittersweet feelings realizing we only have two more concerts. This has gone by really quick it seems.

Some things to pray for during the rest of your Monday as ours ends and melts into Tuesday while still on a bus…

Pray for our stamina and energy. We will not get back to the hotel until 1:00 am or later. We leave the hotel at 5:00 am to catch the high speed train back to Kiev. Pray that we can catch some sleep on the train.

Pray for Tuesday’s concert in Kiev. It will be our largest venue and perhaps our biggest concert on very little sleep.

Pray that we will stay healthy despite our lack of rest.

It has been an awesome mission trip so far. We want to continue strong. I will post more pictures and devotionals as I can. With our travel and schedule tomorrow I don’t know what I will be able to get uploaded.

  1. God Bless you all … prayers still continue for your strength and health and stamina. God is moving amongst you and the Ukrainian people for sure.

  2. May the Lord give grace and peace, along with energy, stamina and joyful endurance during these last days with all the time constraints and connections to be made! May He also make it possible to sing at your finest on little rest so that His Word may be powerfully presented and many will be drawn to Him for salvation and new life!
The Lord’s blessings on you all!

  5. May God give you the strength, stamina and rest to continue the race and to continue strong. There are many praying and we continue to do so and we ask God to carry each of you on the backs of our prayers for you. Praying also for save travel and good health for each of you.

  6. Praying that God grants you all rest and strength for your final three days and final two concerts. May you feel His Spirit at work in you giving every note, and phrase a special touch of His counsel, comfort, and conviction both to those who hear and to those of you who sing and play. Blessings.

  7. Praying for you right now…
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬ ESV)

  9. One of my concerns for you during this trip has been the healtj and stamina of each of you as the trip continues. I have prayed each day for you to be given strength and I know God is providing for you through the results of your concerts and the number of decisions that are being made for Christ! Amen! Those results have to be lifting you up each day. I am filled with the Holy Spirit when I think of how much God is doing through you is changing lives
