A Bountiful Harvest

Today was travel day home to Texas. Many are back to their own cities and several of us are almost there. I’m getting to spend several hours in Atlanta today. For today our name could be The Sleepy Men of Texas. But that will be short lived as rest will come.

I did not get this done before leaving so while I’m sitting here waiting on my final flight to home I thought I would just post a simple recap of the numbers for the week. This also gives all of our team a centralized location to reference this as needed.

Once again when publishing these numbers we do not boast in ourselves. We give all the credit and glory to God.

Over our 12 concerts we sang to over 14,000 people. We have records of over 7,700 indicating a decision to become a more sincere follower of Jesus Christ.

Here is the nightly breakdown.

  1. Praying for these 7793 Ukrainians that each one will boldly continue to walk toward/with Jesus and there will be enough workers to continue to nourishes the seeds sown.

  6. So very thankful for God’s answers to our prayers. It was very helpful to have the prayer guides so we could pray specifically each day. Thankful for the blog with daily updates, photos and videos. It really helped us feel like we were part of the mission. My continued prayers will be for the people who gave their lives to Christ. May they find churches that will disciple them so they can continue to spread the gospel message. Thank you to person who had a part in this mission. God bless you!

  7. God bless you in the days ahead as you reflect on this wonderful mission trip. I praise the Lord for all the decisions made to follow Jesus in the Ukraine. “Great is God’s Faithfulness!” May they truly follow him in word and deed.

  9. This is an incredible blog which helped so many to praise God as we all worked here in Ukraine. Michael and I are still here, and what we are hearing from the Ukrainian pastors and people is, “When will Singing Men come back to us?” Jan Gott

  10. An amazing journey with God-sized results. Thank you for sharing throughout the trip, and may God enable and strengthen the pastors and others who will encourage, and teach and minister to every one of those who indicated a need for Christ.

  11. Derrel, thank you so very much for your daily reports; these ‘word pictures’ helped those of us who could not go, who were praying daily for this mission effort, to catch a glimpse of all that God was doing through the efforts of this entire mission team. To God be the Glory, and may these past two weeks be a time of eternal significance for the people of Ukraine… and for each of you who were able to be a part of this mission team.

  12. PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW…and you, Derrel, have been a great blessing for all of us who wanted to go but could not. Thank you for posting when you were exhausted and keeping us informed of all God was doing. Our prayers continue as all of you have come home and are preparing for services in your own churches. We look forward to seeing you and singing with you again Thursday! Charles and Gloria Mayo
