Singing Men Have Arrived – At Least Most of Us

Most of the team enjoying a nice dinner before calling it a night

Checking in is always a little chaotic.

After over 25 hours of air and bus travel we have arrived in Cherkasy, Ukraine. There is one small group that had flight issues out of Dallas and won’t be into Kiev until 10:00 p.m. Local time and then the two hour bus ride to here. Pray for our Lufthansa group coming thru Frankfurt. They will be tired and worn out when they get here.

We got checked into our hotel and had a lovely dinner together. We have the entire hotel booked.

Getting here is always a challenge, but it is well worth it once the Mission gets under way.

We have a leisure morning tomorrow to help us get over jet lag and then our first meeting and devotional with Michael Gott happens at noon our time. Concert # 1 is at 7:00 p.m. (11:00 am Texas time) in a concert hall that seats 1,200. Pray that it is filled to overflowing and that God will be honored, exalted and glorified in all that we do. Pray for us to recover tomorrow and be fresh and ready to sing. Pray for Michael Gott to be in strong voice and that he will bring the message God has laid on his heart.

Short and sweet tonight. More to come. Thanks for praying for us.

    Grace and peace,
    Glenn

  2. “Hallelujah, God is on the move in many mighty ways! Hallelujah, God is on the move today!” Praying that even now as you are going your rest will be sweet and renewing, your energy revived and the hall packed with people to hear you singing His song. May He go before you, be your rear guard and lay His own hand upon you. Blessings!

  3. You guys are the greatest! Two of you had a wonderful, sweet ministry to me before you even left the US! Thank you for your cheerful hard work of prep, travel and ministry. “It will be worth it all when we see Jesus.” I continue to pray for miracles of all sorts, and for great blessings for you as you bless others.

  4. We’re so glad you’re there and being well fed! You’ll be in our prayers every day!! Charles and Gloria Mayo

  6. John, sing like you do at FIRST BAPTIST IN CANTON AND YOU’LL GET THEIR ATTENTION!!. GOD BEST YOU ALL!

  7. Praying for a tremendous outpouring of God’s blessing in every way. So glad God has opened this door again.

  8. Short, sweet and to the point prayer for you today – “LORD, You got this!” And I hope you remembered to thank the cooks who prepared you lunch! πŸ™‚

  9. So thankful you made it there safely. Will be praying for a blessed and fruitful trip.

  10. While you were singing your first concert I was on my knees lifting the concert up in prayer. God is going to do supernatural things through y’all these next two weeks. To God Be the Hliry because there is Victory in Jedus!!

    • I was praying too (though not on my knees because I was busy teaching, etc.). How precious is the knowledge that our God is omnipresent–with you in Ukraine, with us in the US in our daily tasks, and in every corner of the earth guiding, strengthening and comforting each of His children!

  11. Praying for your safety, but most of all that God will use you for His Kingdom!
