After a good nights sleep and a good breakfast the Singing Men of Texas are starting another day in Ukraine.
One note of interest to some perhaps, that I did not mention in the previous post, is the weather. It is cold here. Temps during the day are in the 40s and at night it drops into the 30s. The concert hall last night was one of the coldest any of us that have been on all these Ukraine trips had experienced. We endured it and it didn’t hamper our efforts any. The forecast for the cities we go to today and tonight show a chance of snow. That might be a fun experience. Dnipro, where we sing on Saturday is covered in snow.
Our attendance for last night is estimated at about 1,400 plus. According to the cards turned in 701 people responded to the invitation and positively responded to Jesus Christ. These names will now be turned over to the local churches here that helped sponsor the concert for follow up. Pray that they will find a church which will now disciple them.
In this post is a photo gallery of various pictures from yesterday. Thanks to Larry Marx, John Bell, and our Ukrainian photographer Antonina Kreposniak for the pictures.
Our agenda today is fairly simple:
Devotional time with Michael Gott at 11:15
Lunch at hotel then head to Krapivnitsky (79 miles – 2 1/2 hour drive)
Concert #2 at the Regional Philarmonic Hall (seats 900) 7:00 pm (11:00 am Texas Time)
Transfer to Kryvyi Rih after concert for our hotel (74 miles – 3 hour drive)
Pray for us today. If my mobile internet is good tonight while traveling I will be able to post something. If not it may be till our Friday morning before I get the next post up.
Until next time – Christi vas Cres! (Christ is Risen!)
