On the Road Again … Final Time

We are loading up for our final road trip of two hours to Chernigov. We will be about 50 miles from Chernobyl. It is a Russian Orthodox Church stronghold. It is a place Singing Men have not been before.

The past couple of days the respiratory bug has swept through a good number of our team. Pray for us that we will be strong not only in voice but in physical strength and stamina tonight for our final concert.

Pray that all 1,000 seats will be filled and that as Michael shares the simple gospel message one more time the Lord will draw to Himself many, many people.

Michael challenged us all today that regardless of our age God still has plans and a purpose for our lives. It is never too late for a miracle. We are claiming that tonight.

Once again thank you for your prayer support. Let’s all pray over the next several hours . . . Lord, do it again!

  1. Praying for God to strengthen each of you with strong heart and voice as you proclaim His message to these people. I will be praying for healing and protection for you all.

  2. This is really on the fly – I’m heading out to play with the Heathens and RHHS the next 2 days. Fortunately, we have Advisory at 11:00, so will launch another arrow prayer at you then. Praying that “the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul” today and “may the powers of darkness tremble as our praises rise!” – Casting Crowns. You are always in His grip! Shake up Hell tonight all the way to its very foundations!

  3. Praying that those with upper respiratory woes will be healed in time for this last performance. Have so enjoyed these posts.

    • Kay, I think only one singer was unable to stand in at the concert. I felt the strength of everyone’s prayers and God’s miraculous intercession: as we drove to the concert, I began to feel better, and was able to sing most of the songs with a combination of regular and falsetto voice; then, after the concert, I went back to being sick and hoarse – I really believe God answers prayers, specifically when they are in line with His will and work. Thanks for all of your prayers!

  4. Ok I had a chance to read your full post. Praying that J. Rophe the God Who Heals will touch every one of you who are ill. “Those who lack power He adds strength ” the devil never plays fair but he’s already lost the game. You’re in his stronghold for sure this time.We ran into the Orthodox in Romania. Praying in the powerful name of Jesus. Amin

  5. So sorry about the respiratory bug, and praying for His healing touch. God will bring glory to Himself!
“We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” I Thess. 1:2-3

  6. Janet,
Thank you for your prayer requests. May God restore those who are ill with His divine healing power and open the door for others to know Christ through His message and song. Travel mercies as you and others travel to a new place and then return safely home. You and Will have been greatly missed but we know God is using you in this special way today. Praise and thank God in song. Psalm 33 in Jesus Name. Amen.

  7. Prayers that God will kill that bug, and The Spirit will come through loud and clear tonight!
    Have a safe trip home.

    BIG HUGS

  10. Faith BC In Duncanville prayed last evening that the Lord will totally “knock out” the potential for severe weather in N. Texas Friday evening. We think you all need to get home to rest and recover. We’re very thankful for your ministry opportunities there, but we want to see you again soon!
