Concert #1 Report

image3The Texas Country Boys and Michael Gott opened their Ukrainian concert tour in the city of Kryvyi Rih, an economically stressed, iron mining city of over 600,000. The 1600 seat arena was filled almost to capacity with an enthusiastic crowd who were ready not only to listen but to participate. At one crucial point in the concert everyone was on their feet with their hands in the air.  Many waved their phone flashlights and others raised the flame of a lighter.  Some even shouted out words of gratitude to Michael Gott and the band for bringing the tour to their city.

Michael Gott spoke to the crowd through his translator Valera Tseona and shared a clear and loving message in which the concert attendees were told that their past sins would be forgiven and they could have a future with God if they would open their hearts and trust in Jesus Christ alone.

At the close of the concert 645 people recorded positive decisions with their own hand on their response cards and turned them in to the volunteer support staff.

Please continue to follow the progress of the tour as the band moves East sharing Christ as they travel ever closer to the Russian border.

  1. God is on the move in Ukraine. Thank you to all who are over there working hard to spread the good news of Jesus.

  2. Soli Deo Gloria and blessings on you for being His voice in this Hall. Praying Isaiah 40:31 over you as you are sleeping tonight, to renew your physical strength, and refreshing peace floods your spirit for the next concert..Be encouraged in every way as you exalt our LORD. You are being used in a mighty way!

  3. Bless you all and Praise God for the mighty way you moved at the first concert.
Praying for the team’s good health and energy and that God give you one heart and purpose…to see the many lost come to Christ. Praying for a good night of rest.
Teach them how to say “Y’all” over there!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

  4. Awesome! So happy at the number of positive decisions that were received. We continue to pray for more and more of these decisions and for your safety.

    Blessings!

  5. Praying for you while you are sleeping before this challenging leg of your journey to the War Zone. We just saw the movie “Someone Different As Me” and 2 great lines jumped out of the screen: “We’re all homeless trying to find our way home.” This is your mission, for you have the directions to give them. Thank you for being God’s voice and foot soldiers. The second: “Those precious to the LORD are important to the devil.” No doubt he’s after you; no doubt the LORD will stop him. Here are the words of David the Warrior King who saw his share of War Zones – Claimed for you: “But You O LORD are a shield about me,my glory and the lifter of my head.” Ps. 3:3 and “You have enclosed me behind and before and laid your hand upon me.” Ps. 139:5 You are “Safe and Secure from all alarms.”

  6. Praise God!!! Blessings on each of you and the people attending. Thanks for going and sharing.
